"A Gathering of Family and Friends" will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, 
in the chapel of Loche's Mortuary.  Rev. Roderic Johnson will serve as the 
officiant of the service.

Janie Anette was the name given to a precious baby girl born on June 9, 1948, in 
Bastrop, Louisiana to Willie Johnson and John White.  On January 7, 2026, at 
5:21 p.m. at Glenwood Regional Medical Center, Janie went home to be with her 
God.  She attended Morehouse High School and Bastrop Vocational and Technical 
School   in Nursing.

Janie's favorite hobbies included sitting under the carport,  playing games 
while reading her Kindle, enjoying her Benson and Hedges, a Coke. gardening, 
cooking, and spending quality time with her family.

She traveled to many places including: Las Vegas, Houston, Atlanta, Kingsland, 
GA, and a plethora of regional trips to watch Chelsea play softball.

Janie was blessed with two precious and loving children: Andre N. Johnson 
(Andrienne) and Anita (Gee) Johnson Fagan (Tommy, Jr.), her bonus children, Jeff 
Ramey (Madis), Raymond Gilmore, Jr. (Carolyn), Lillian LeFaye Ramey, Shirley 
Mitchell (Johnny), and Consuela Gibson-Stewart (Stefon); six grandchildren: 
Jeremy Johnson, Sarah Fagan, Chandler Fagan, Chelsea Fagan, Amiya Johnson, 
Alexis Johnson, and additional grandchildren: Whitney Armstrong, Raymond 
Gilmore, Zenobia Gilmore, LeKeshia Ramey-Montgomery, Stuve Ramey, JaLisa Gibson, 
Joshua Doaty, and  ShaKyra Gibson; three great grandchildren: Kingston Harris 
Johnson, Ricki Johnson, and Kylie Johnson.
