Golden Funeral Home - February 2017
JAMES EDWARD GINN

Graveside funeral services for Mr. James Edward Ginn, age 85, of Bastrop are
scheduled for 2 PM Monday, February 13, 2017 at Mer Rouge Cemetery with Rev. Tony
Campanale officiating under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.

Mr. Ginn, a retired Accountant for International Paper Company and member of Mer
Rouge Baptist Church, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017. Mr. Ginn was a family
man who loved his family and always wanted to be sure they were taken care of. He
loved deer hunting and the outdoors. Mr. Ginn was a veteran, having served in the
United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Peggy Grimes Ginn; daughter, Staci
Hudson and husband Ricky of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, April Hutchison and husband
Keith of McKinney, TX, Leah Jenkins and husband Chad of Canton, GA and eight great
grandchildren.

Mr. Ginn is preceded in death by his daughter, Carrie Carlile; grandson, Casey
Meyers; parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.O. Ginn and two sisters,Bonnie Crowe and Carolyn
Ginn.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 13 from 10 AM - 12 Noon at Goldens.
