Golden Funeral Home - October 2018
FRANCES NELL GOULD


Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Gould will be held 11 AM Friday, October 12,
2018 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating.
Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday
from 10 AM - 11 AM service time at Goldens.
Frances was born December 9, 1927 in Crossett, Arkansas and was called home on
October 6, 2018 in Slidell, Louisiana, where she resided for the last sixteen
months.
She was greeted into heaven by her husband Lamon Hershel Gould; mother, Moree
Burkes Croswell; father, Clark Croswell; sister, Joyce Croswell Corley; brother,
Hubert Croswell; as well as her beloved son, Hershel Gould and late wife, Janice
Sissac Gould and daughter-in-law, Melody Ponzio Gould.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, William Croswell and wife
Annette Johnson Croswell, Doyle Croswell; sons, Ronnie Gould and wife Etta
Harvey Gould, Robert Gould and wife Lori Mathews Gould, Charles Gould and wife
Patricia Sandifer Gould; eight grandchildren,  Marc Gould, Laurie Gould Piot and
husband Chad, Chad Gould, Ronda Prestwood and husband Clayton, Stacie Gould
Irvin and husband Dan, Jean Thibodeaux and wife Stacie Sacket Thibodeaux, Luke
Gould, Dustin Gould and wife Candice Duchmann Gould; fourteen great
grandchildren, M.J. Gould, Morgan Gould, Cole Gould, Alyssa Gould, Alaina Gould,
Amanda Prestwood, Ryder Irvin, Kirsten Thibodeaux, Taylor Thibodeaux, Jolie
Thibodeaux, Andrew Bradford, Cassidy Duchmann, Emma Gould and Kason Gould.
Frances touched many lives and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother,
grandmother and friend. She enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, reading
inspirational literature by Billy Graham, and Daily Devotionals. She truly loved
when she taught religion class at Poydras Baptist Church, as well as a strong
follower in her faith!
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Chad Gould, Chad Piot, Dustin Gould,
Luke Gould, Jim Corley, Curt Croswell, and Jean Thibodeaux.
