LOUISE VICK GREEN


Bastrop - Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Vick Green, age 97, of Bastrop, LA, ar
are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Green Acres Baptist Ch
Church with Bro. Todd Wooden and Bro. Gerald Gates officiating. Interment will fo
follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Vi
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday at Golden Funeral Home.

Mrs. Green, a homemaker and charter member of Green Acres Baptist Church in 
Bastrop, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 8, 2017. She was an avid 
Bible reader, visitor to the nursing homes, WMU leader and Sunday School 
teacher for many years. She had a special devotion to her grandchildren and 
great-grands.

Mrs. Green is survived by her three children, Mary Louise "Sissy" Hammack of 
Swartz, LA, John S. Green, Jr. and wife Deb of Bastrop, LA, Bob Green and wife 
Sarah of Bastrop, LA; eight grandchildren, John S. Green III and wife Christy, 
Holly Spyker and husband Bill, Shauna Withers and husband Jeff, Keith Hammack, 
Emy Little and husband Stacy, Rob Green and wife Alexis, Leslie Caraway and 
husband Patrick, Vick Green and wife Sophie; seventeen great- grandchildren, Sadi
Sadie, Ben and Mary Jackson Green, Emma, Gordon and Porter Caraway, Micah, Jaco
Jacob and Macy Kate Little, Hannah, John William and Grice Spyker, Katie and Jack
Jack Green, Austin and Dustin Withers, and Houston Bass. and a host of nieces, neph
nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband John S. Gree
Green; parents, Clarence Covington Vick and Emmie Pipkin Vick; two sisters and one 
one brother. The family wishes to express special thanks to Dr. Mike Smith, Caro
Carolyn Alford and the staffs of Savannah Court and Savannah Cottage.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Rob Green, Stacy Little, Keith Hammack, Tre` Gr
Green, Patrick Caraway, Bill Spyker, Jeff Withers and Vick Green.
