JUDITH MAUSER GREER


Heaven gained a beloved angel on Friday evening, November 30th, 2018. She will
be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

Memorial services for Judith Mauser Greer, are scheduled for 10:30 AM Tuesday,
December 4th, 2018 at North Monroe Baptist Church (West Worship Center), Monroe,
LA with Rev. Warren Eckhert officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday,
December 4th, from 9 AM – 10:30 AM.

She is survived by her children, Julie Sutton and Marty, and their son and
daughter; Patrick and his wife Brooke; Victoria and her friend Brantley all of
Sterlington, LA. Her son Richie Patrick and his wife, Paige, and their two sons;
Hunter and his wife Emily; and Brady all of Springdale, AR. She is also survived
by her brother, Glen Mauser and his wife Fran, along with their sons; Glen Allen
and his wife Amanda and their children and grandchildren; Brian and his wife
Wanda and their children and grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ebin Lamar Jr of Sterlington, LA, her
parents Jesse and Jewel Mauser of Bastrop, LA. Her In-Laws, Ebin Lamar Greer,
Sr. and Pansie Greer of West Monroe, LA.

Judy was a member of North Monroe Baptist Church. After moving to Sterlington,
LA, she served as the Town Clerk. She then had a successful career as an
Administrative Law Judge for  the State of Louisiana. After retiring, she loved
serving as a docent at Biedenharn Coca-Cola Museum.

Judy, better known as “Nano”, lived life to the fullest. She never met a
stranger, and when she did meet someone new, she had an immediate and positive
impact on their lives. Her infectious smile and laugh could brighten anyone’s
day. She lived a selfless life of paying it forward to others. She valued the
many friendships she had and put others’ needs before her own.
Judy was a devoted wife who loved and cared for Lamar, who was diagnosed with
Alzheimer’s disease. She spent her last few years by his side faithfully caring
for him.
Judy’s children and grandchildren were her heart and joy. There’s no denying
that, her “grandbabies” as she called them, were the people that she loved the
most. Time spent at Nano’s house during holidays and family gatherings were some
of her fondest memories that she cherished.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, any planned memorials may be sent to the North
Monroe Building Fund.
