Keith Willard officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Mrs. Haile was born in Bastrop, LA on May 13, 1951 to Mr. and Mrs. B.A. Carpenter and returned to her eternal home on Monday, August 14,2023. She was a 1969 graduate of Sterlington High School, where she enjoyed playing basketball and cheerleading. After high school, she married Willie Haile and in their union had two daughters. Mrs. Haile was a stay at home mom, but later entered the insurance business for many years. She enjoyed traveling, grilling outside, and growing beautiful roses. Mrs. Haile is survived by her daughters, Nikki Haile of Fairbanks, LA, Sommer Robinson and husband Charles of Florida; four grandsons, that were the light of her life, Logan Robinson, Coleton Robinson, Joell Robinson, Kacen Haile; sister, Linda Borden and brother-in-law, Brice; Willie Haile, the father of her children; nieces, Shannon Haile, Angel Whittington, Bridget Nations; and a host of great nieces and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B.A. Carpenter; sister, Wanda Carpenter; her granddad, Abner B. Carpenter, whom she enjoyed playing dominoes with each afternoon as a child and a nephew, Eric Dennett. She is also preceded in death by her puppy of 17 years, “Mutton”. Serving as pallbearers will be Logan Robinson, Colten Robinson, Kacen Haile, Charles Robinson, and Steve Price. Honorary pallbearer is Brice Borden.
