Funeral services for Mr. Glen Hale, 58, of Monticello, Ark. will be held at 2 
p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008 in the chapel of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home 
with the Rev. John Ogden and the Rev. Zan Pierce Jr. officiating. Interment 
will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park.

Mr. Hale died Wednesday, January 2, 2008 as the result of an automobile 
accident.

Mr. Hale was a native of Hamburg, Ark., a resident of Monticello for the past 
21 years and a former resident of Texas and New Mexico. He graduated from 
Hamburg High School in 1968. He was the maintenance foreman for the Vera Lloyd 
Presbyterian Home and Family Services in Monticello and he was the organizer 
of the Pony Express Mail Run. He was a Baptist; he loved kids and adopted many 
at heart.

He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Hale in 1996; and a brother, 
Mark Hale in 1994.

He is survived by two sons, Wesley Cross of Whitehall, Ark. and Justin Hale of 
Hobbs, N.M.; three daughters, Carla Martin of Bastrop, Dee Dee Hale and 
Timberly Manes, both of Monticello; his mother, Della Kellum Hale Ogden of 
Camden, Ark.; a sister, Sharon Jeffers of Crossett, Ark.; and eight 
grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Wade Pennington, Jeff Ross, Red Elvin Ingram, Edward Roper, 
Jeffery Trotter and Steve Brantley. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Snelgrove 
and Benny Jordan.
