OAK GROVE, LA - Funeral services for Ricky Lane Hart, Sr., age 69 of Lake 
Providence, Louisiana will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Cox 
Funeral Home Chapel, 200 East Noble Street in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Reverend Stowe Harbin will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Campbell Cemetery near Pioneer, Louisiana.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
A time of visitation will be held from noon until time of service on Sunday, 
January 4, 2026 at Cox Funeral Home, 200 East Noble Street in Oak Grove, 
Louisiana.
Mr. Hart passed into eternal life on Friday, January 2, 2026 in Lake Providence, 
Louisiana.
Ricky is preceded in death by his father, Hershel Malcolm Hart, Sr.; his mother, 
Ruth Lee (Hendrix) Hart; and brother, Tommy Lee Hart, Sr.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Joyce Annette (Miles) Hart of Lake Providence, 
Louisiana; son, Ricky Hart, Jr. of Springhill, Louisiana; daughter, Christy Hart 
of Springhill, Louisiana; daughter, Nickie Miles of Lake Providence, Louisiana; 
son/grandson, Brandon Miles and his wife, Abigail of Kilbourne, Louisiana; 5 
grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; and brother, Hershel Hart, Jr., of West 
Monroe, Louisiana.
Pallbearers are: Holden Bolden, Mason Bankston, Jose Martinez, Ricky Lane Hart, 
Jr., and Brandon Goodwin.
Honorary Pallbearers are: Landon Jones, Hershel Hart, Jr., Thomas Lee Hart, Jr.; 
and Brandon Riley.
