Tim Post officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, prior to the service, beginning at 1 PM. Mr. Hattaway, a retired truck driver and member of Bayou Oaks Baptist Church, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the age of ninety-five. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and loved spending time outdoors. Some of his favorite hobbies were working in his yard and squirrel hunting. Mr. Hattaway is survived by his children, Reese Little, and wife Dewana, Kathy McGuffin, and husband Bob, Archie Little, and wife Tammy, Nanette Lewis; sisters, Doris Hampton, and husband Bill, Annie Mae Thompson; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Hattaway; father, J.D. Hattaway; mother, Virginia Hattaway; brother, Johnny Hattaway; and sisters, Ernestine Matheny and Betty Boyd. Serving as pallbearers will be John Hattaway, John Peyton Hattaway, Rusty Little, Marshall Daniels, Jerome Sikes, and Lester Ragsdale.
