HAYS BASTROP, LA. Frank Campbell Hays, Sr. was born October 16, 1958 in Monroe, Louisiana to the union of Rosina Lisotta Hays and T. Patrick Hays, Sr. He passed away, following a brief illness, on March 19, 2014. Frank is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Phil Hays; grandmother, Mica Lisotta; and an uncle, Philip Lisotta. Funeral services for Mr. Hays will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop. Bro. Joey Kennedy will officiate the services. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Cox Funeral Home, Bastrop. Frank was a member of New Life Church of God and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an avid outdoorsman and he loved to hunt and fish. Frank was known to be a great cook, specializing in Italian and crawfish dishes. To many friends and his Sunday school class, he was known as "Bobby Crocker." He is survived by his children, twins, Beaux Hays and Danielle Hays, daughter, Hayley Hays; grandsons, Bennett Hays and Campbell Hays; sisters, Mickey Bennett and Susan Hays; brother, T. Patrick Hays, Jr.; sister -in-law, Michelle Hays; and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers are James Hays, Randall Moore, Dr. Michael Vanderlick, Tim Miletello, Vince Giovingo, and Marsh Nolan. Honorary pallbearers are Chipper West, Rick Lee, Wendal May, George Kennedy, and Dr. Julian Rose. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon until time for services on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.
