Stan Keely officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. Mr. Hickman, a retired machinist and millwright, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017. He was a Golden Glove Boxer and Coach along with his brother, Donald. Mr. Hickman was a member of the Church of God and loved to watch football, the Saints, L.S.U. and Razorbacks. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses, shooting pool and playing dominoes. He is survived by his wife, Cathey Hickman; daughters, Penny Whitaker and husband Lee of Greenville, MS, Pamela Keely and husband Stan of Fountain Hill, AR, Casey Anne Alfaro and husband Allan of Bastrop, Jennifer Hickman, Meredith Hickman, both of Bastrop; sons, Bruce Hickman and wife Amy of Aiken, SC, Keith "Tattoo" Hickman and Penny of Bastrop, Kenneth Hickman of Bastrop, Michael Rea and wife Crystal of Bastrop, Charles Ronald Neil of NC, Ronald Gray Hickman of Bastrop, Tony Hickman of Jacksonville, FL and step-son, Larry Blissett and wife Amy of West Monroe, LA; twenty eight grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Hickman is preceded in death by his father, Wiley Hickman; mother, Opal Madden Hickman Risher; step-father, Bob Risher; son, Keith David Hickman; brothers, Robert Hickman, Billy Jack Hickman and his twin brother, Donald Hickman, also his infant sister, Joette. Serving the family as pallbearers will be; Keith "Tattoo" Hickman, Bruce Hickman, Tony Hickman, William Roy Hickman, Glen Farrar, Lee Whitaker, Ethan Tolbert, Charles Conner. Honorary pallbearer will be Kenny Hickman. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 6 PM - 8 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
