"BUD" HOLCOMB SR. Memorial services for Mr. Eddie F. "Bud" Holcomb, Sr., age 69, of Bastrop are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Bonita Road Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Herring officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Mr. Holcomb, a mechanic and member of the Baptist faith passed away, Saturday, March 21, 2009 at his residence. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War having served two terms in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Holcomb is survived by his wife, Patsy Holcomb; four children, Pamela Battaglia and husband Elmer of Farmerville, Erica Bautista and husband Luis of Bastrop, Regina Holcomb of Rock Ridge, Md., Eddie Holcomb II of Shreveport; four sisters, Ruth Marie Robinson and husband Don of Monroe, Shirley Ann Martin and husband Jim of Eldridge, Mo., Delores Branstetter and husband John, Texas City, Texas, Pamela Jane Vail and husband Bobby Dale of Bastrop; one brother, Arthur Lee Holcomb and wife Lonnie of Wagner, Okla.; five grandchildren, Devon Grimes, Pamela Grimes, Jonah Grimes, Cheyenne Holcomb and Isaiah Bautista. He is preceded in death by parents, Frank and Naomi Mann Holcomb; grandparents, Susie and Eddie Mann, Arthur Holcomb and Pearl Blackwell.
