PATSY GRAFTON HOLDMAN


Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Grafton Holdman are scheduled for 1:00 PM,
Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at the Pine Grove Baptist Church, Bernice, LA, with
Bro. Charles Headrick and Bro. Tim Post officiating.  Interment will follow in
the Pine Grove Baptist Church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6 PM until 8
PM, Monday, November 5, 2018, at the church.
Mrs. Holdman, a resident of Bernice, LA, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018,
at the age of eighty-four. 
Mrs. Holdman, or “Mama Patsy,” as she was affectionately known, loved her Lord
and Savior and her church, Pine Grove Baptist, where she was an active member
for many years.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother, as well as a friend to all.  Her family was her heart and she
loved them dearly.  She was an excellent cook and loved to extend her help to
anyone in a time of need.  She worked for Union Parish School Food Service for
around thirty years.
    
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Holdman; parents, Jim Wiley and
Grace Grafton; daughter, Mary Graham; sister, Valarie Shelton: and brothers,
James Edward Grafton and Bobby Ray Grafton.
Survivors include her children, Gary Holdman, and wife Brenda, Donald Holdman,
and wife Gina, Pattie Burns, and husband Bobby, and Dena Holdman Lee; sisters,
Geraldine Tunney, and Therez Kelley, and husband Van; brother, Lloyd Grafton,
and wife Frances; sister-in-law, Patsy Grafton; brother-in-law, Ken Shelton;
nine grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.    
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Steven Burns, Jonathan Holdman, Keith
Green, Michael Kelley, Tommy Daugherty, and Bill Holdman.  Honorary pallbearers
will be Dusty Burroughs, Nicholas Branch, and Cade Vanderhoeven.

Bernice, LA  71222.
