BASTROP DAILY ENTERPRISE - JANUARY 31, 1975
WILLETT HORNSBY

Willett C. Hornsby, 85, well known business man and former newspaper man, died 
at noon today at Summerlin Lane Nursing Home after a long illness.

Mr. and Mrs. Hornsby moved to Bastrop in 1916 where he was in business here for 
many years prior to his retirement several years ago. He owned Hornsby Cleaners 
for a number of years.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice M. Hornsby and three children, two sons, 
Wilson of Bastrop and W.C. Hornsby Jr., of Gardner, N.C. and a daughter, Mrs. 
John Seivert of Baton Rouge.

No details on funeral arrangements at press time but will be handled by Golden 
Funeral Home.
