Charles Pullin officating under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation is 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Letha Mae Hays Flowers Hughes of Bastrop, LA, a former waitress and homemaker, died July 8, 2012. Mrs. Hughes is preceded in death by her husbands, C.V. Flowers, R.D. Hughes; parents, Percy and Pinky Hays; daughter, Jackie Flowers; son, William Flowers; a step-daughter, Joyce Turberville; one step-grandchild; and one great grandchild. Mrs. Hughes is survived by two daughters, Aletha Faye Flowers of Bastrop, LA, Jessie Lou Murray of Bastrop, LA; three step-daughters, Lenda Limerick of West Virginia, Patsy Russell and husband Sonny of Atlanta, TX, Judy Tuberville and husband Bill of Queen City, TX; two sons, Junior Flowers and wife Joy of Bastrop, LA, Harold Flowers and wife Angie of Bastrop, LA; one step-son, Ronald Hughes and wife Joyce of Zowolle, LA; three sisters, Laverne Till of Delhi, LA, Gracie Milam and husband Jimmy of Ocean Springs, MS, Carol Sims and husband Joe of Conway, AR; three brothers, Charles Hays and wife Maxine of Ida, LA, Perry Hays and wife Linda of Lufkin, TX, Wayne Hays and wife Mary of Coushatta, LA; eleven grandchildren; fourteen step-grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren; twenty two step-great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; and five step-great great grandchildren. Mrs. Hughes was a member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church and a former member of Westside Baptist Church. Serving as pallbearers are: Peanut Flowers, Louis Hocking, Jarred Breedlove, Eugene Flowers, Joshua Breedlove, Caleb Jackson, Tyler Tharp and Larry Tharp. Honorary pallbearers will be: Scott Flowers, Tony Sullivan, Dava Hocking, Debra Burns, Charles Sullivan and Kenny Breedlove.
