TROY D. JR. HUGHES

Memorial funeral services for Mr. Troy D. Hughes, Jr., 67, of Bastrop are 
scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Oak Hill Baptist Church 
with Rev. Andy Myrick and Rev. Eddie Rhymes officiating under the direction 
of Golden Funeral Home.

Mr. Hughes, a member and deacon of Oak Hill Baptist Church, passed away 
Saturday, April 8, 2017. He loved sports, singing, music and he loved his 
Lord.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Hughes; parents, Thelma Gill and Troy D. 
Hughes, Sr. and wife Carolyn; son, Greg Hughes of Monroe; siblings, Beverly 
Price and husband Bill of Bastrop, Gary Hughes and wife Cindy of Round Rock, 
TX, Todd Hughes and wife Sandra of Bastrop, Chris Hughes and Mike Antley; 
grandchildren, Matthew and Ethan and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and 
friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association.
