JACKSON Funeral services for Mr. Terrell M. Jackson, age 76, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014 at First United Pentecostal Church with Revs. Robert Tyson, Charles Best and A.J. Fulton officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Friday at the church. Mr. Jackson, a retired oil field employee, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at his residence. He was a faithful member and Deacon at Fellowship Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Sue Best Jackson; four children, Leah Johnson and husband Carl of Crossett, AR, Daniel "Max" Jackson and wife Dawn of Bastrop, LA; Paula Welch and husband Brad of Winnsboro, LA, Lynelle Rhoads and husband Barry of Logansport, LA; sister, Iris Lester of Delhi, LA; brother, Jimmie Jackson and wife Lillie of Benton, LA; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Jackson is preceded in death by his parents, Pearl Jackson, Virgie McCartney Jackson, Hazel Moreland Jackson; sisters and brother, Janice Mann, Ray Jackson, Shirley Jackson and Sara Curtis. Serving as pallbearers are: David Brasher, Carl Johnson, Jr., R.L. Lester, Jr., Randy Hart, Brandon Pace and Larry Redden.
