Gary Dewayne Jackson, 43, of Bastrop, LA, departed this life at Morehouse General 
Hospital in Bastrop, LA, on Thursday, February 5, 2026.  Funeral services will be 
held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 2:30 pm at Mitchell Funerals and Cremations 
Chapel.  Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, February 20, 2026 
at Mitchell Funerals and Cremations of Bastrop, LA.  Burial will follow at H.V. 
Adams Cemetery in Bastrop, LA under the directions of Mitchell Funerals and 
Cremations of Bastrop, LA.
