"Red" Johnson, 76, of Pine Bluff, Ark. will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 21,2007, at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Home in Pine Bluff with the Rev. James Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 20 at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Home in Pine Bluff. Huey P. "Red" Johnson died Sunday, November 18,2007 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. Born April 30, 1931, in Oak Grove, La., he was a son of Rush Linsey and Lura Mae Layton Johnson. Mr. Johnson was reared and received his education in Oak Grove and Bastrop, Louisiana. He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was retired from International Paper Co. of Pine Bluff, where he worked in the pulp mill, brown stock washer department, for 26 years. He was a member of the International Union #898. Huey P. "Red" Johnson married Priscilla Whitt in Pine Bluff, on September 10, 1980. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his previous wife, Doris Redd Johnson, of Star City, Ark., originally from Kilbourne, La., by two days. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Alfred Johnson of Bastrop. Survivors include his wife, Priscilla Johnson of Pine Bluff; son and daughter- in-law, Michael and Sherry Johnson of Star City; son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Kathy Johnson of Star City; daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Charles Brewster of Star City; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Craig Puckett of Woodlawn; daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Bobby Roper of Arlington, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Amy Ashcraft of Searcy, Ark.; daughter and son-in-law, Robbie and DeWayne Dudley of White Hall; daughter and son-in-law Elvie and Jimmy Edwards of Cave City, Ark.; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Charlene Johnson and Sherman and Pat Johnson, and sister-in-law Billie Fay Johnson, all of Bastrop.
