She came into this world through union of Willie Loyd and Gertrude Pruitt Copeland on April 19, 1933. She is preceding in death by her parents, three brothers, a brother-in-law, and grandson, Thomas Wesley Johnson, Jr. She leaves behind her husband, of 66 years of marriage, Thomas H. Johnson Jr.; her daughters, Sharlet Taylor and husband Paul, Betty Carver, Shirley Albritton and husband Nathan, Carolyn Lemieux, Sandra Cameron, and one son, Tommy Wesley Johnson and wife Wanda; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and Macklin Wade Johnson who will arrive in May; one sister, Mary Lou Ferrell and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Estell was a homemaker and loved taking care of her most prized possessions: family and her two dogs, Misty Star and Eddy. She was a member of Beulah Land Free Will Baptist Church and she and her husband owned and operated Apache Welding and Aluminum Works, Inc. for fifty-five years. The family would like to convey their appreciation of the care which was given over the years by Dr. Collins Coon and Sissy, Dr. Mark Dollar, her nurses, Glenwood Home Health Care, and Kay's Pharmacy. Visitation will be at Golden Funeral Home in Bastrop, LA, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017 with graveside services being held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 31, 2017, at Mer Rouge Cemetery. Rev. Eugene Benson will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Johnson, Michael Taylor, David Taylor, Shawn Lemieux, Hunter George, and Brandon McVay. Honoary pallbearer will be Nathan Albritton.
