BRENDA C. JOHNSTON

Mrs. Brenda C. Johnston, a retired school bus driver, passed away Saturday, 
February 14, 2026, at the age of seventy-nine.

She is survived by her daughter, Shelley Mobley and fiance' Julian Bayless, of 
Bastrop, LA; brother, Danny Cates and wife, Rhonda of Idaho; granddaughter, 
Molly Mobley and fiance' Cooper Brown; and several nieces, nephews, and other 
family.

Mrs. Johnston is preceded in death by her husband, Don Johnston; parents, Willie 
and Addie Cates; brother, Gary Cates; and sister, Sandra Myers Cates.

In honor of Mrs. Johnston wishes, there will be no services scheduled.
