Golden Funeral Home - October 2018
PENNY BURNS JONES

Funeral services for Mrs. Penny Burns Jones are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday,
October 19, 2018, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Bro. Rodney Ratcliff and
Bro. Casey Johnson will be officiating. The interment will follow in Memorial
Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 18, 2018, from
5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Goldens.
Mrs. Jones, an Occupational Therapist and member of First West Fairbanks Church,
passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at the age of 48. Her children were her
whole life. She was a hard working, compassionate person who took care of her
patients. Mrs. Jones was a loving mother, sister and daughter who loved her Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ. She also loved Avery Hanna immensely and was adored by
her two canine companions, Miley and Pepper.
She is survived by her parents, Charles and Jennie Burns; daughter, Lisa Jones;
son, Trevor Jones; special nephews, Tyler Burns and Chad Burns; and numerous
aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Burns; grandparents,
James and Hattie Burns, and Bishop and Ina Mae Robinson; two special cousins,
Wanda Brunson and Ricky Burns.
Serving as pallbearers will be Drake Wilmore, Whit Buffington, Lance Wilkins,
Tanner Coley, Chase Carter, and Chris Parker. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr.
Clint Gillory and Chad Asher.
