Bastrop Daily Enterprise - Dec. 28, 2003
Funeral services for James Hodges "Bud" Jones, age 60, of Bastrop, will be
Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Memorial Methodist Church in Bastrop with
the Rev. Ramon Warren and the Rev. Bo Horne officiating. Burial will follow at
the Mer Rouge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30 at Cox
Funeral Home in Bastrop.

Mr. Jones died Dec. 28, 2003 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Lee Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Eva E. Jones, his father, James Luther Jones; a son,
Jason Jones of Houston, Texas; a step-son, Louis Bonin of Baton Rouge; a
daughter, Amy Jones of Austin, Texas; a step-daughter, Jennier Morrow of
Bastrop; a grandson, Dillon McDowell of Bastrop; two granddaughters, Somer
Courson and Farrah McDowell, both of Bastrop; two brothers, Kevin Jones of
Bastrop and Eric Jones of Melbourne, Fla. and a sister, Kay King of Mandeville.

Pallbearers will be Lee Hodges, Malcolm Eppinette, James Eppinette, Jamie
Eppinette, Dyar Eppinette II, Robert Ferguson, Jerry Ferguson and Duke Hart.
