McCullough officiating. Interment will be at the Promise Land Cemetery in Hamburg, Ark., under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Kelley died Monday, August 2, 2004 at Morehouse General Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Joan S. Kelley; daughter, Kathryn Michelle Borghi and husband, Marco of Dallas, Texas; son, Michael David Kelley and wife, Judy of Richmond, Al.; two sisters, Bonnie Morrow of Little Rock, Ark., and Martha Jones and husband, Bobby of Hamburg, Ark.; two brothers, Charles M. Kelley Jr. and wife, Jean of Bastrop and Billy F. Kelley and wife, Audrey of Hamburg, Ark.; two grandchildren, David Michael Kelley and Shawn William Kelly, both of Richmond, Va.; sister-in-law, Winnie Shuey of Fort Wayne, Ind.; brother-in-law, E.O. Sumner and wife, Wilma of Tulsa, Okla., and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, C. Morgan Kelley and mother, Frances Kelley of Hamburg, Ark. Kelley was a member of First Baptist Church where he served his Lord faithfully, a member of the Baptist Optimist Club, Bastrop Chamber of Commerce, Mt. Gerzim Masonic Lodge, Barrak Shriners, the "Crew," South Central Bell Telephone Pioneers and Board Member and past president of the Fair Board. Kelley served his country during the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Army. Serving as pallbearers are: Jimmy Christmas, Venoy Kinnaird, Dale Rogers, Byron Rogers, Jim Bonsall, David Wilkerson, Cecil Brown and Boots Gladney. Honorary pallbearers are members of the First Baptist Church Ambassadors Department. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Golden Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
