Born in Bastrop, Louisiana, on Dec. 22, 1941

Funeral services for Bobby Gene Kennedy, age 62, of Wisner will be held at 4 
p.m. on Monday, Aug. 9, 2004 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Bastrop with the 
Rev. Keith D. Butler officiating. Burial will follow in the Christ Church 
Cemetery in Bastrop under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.

Mr. Kennedy died Saturday, August 7, 2004 at the Ashley County Memorial 
Hospital in Crossett, Ark.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bartley James "B. J" Kennedy; a 
brother, James Kennedy; and a sister, Betty Lou Keiser.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James Bryant and Angelique 
Kennedy of Empire; daughter and son-in-law, Donita and the Rev. Keith D. 
Butler of St. Joseph; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Scott Smith of 
Crossett, Ark.; daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Dennis Maxwell of 
Haughton; mother, Audrey Mae Kennedy Brown of Minden; brother, Gerald H. 
Kennedy of Little Rock, Ark.; brother, Johnny M. Kennedy of Bossier City; 
sister, Fannie Mae Blackstock of Haughton; sister, Mary Ruth Billingsley of 
Buras and 8 grandchildren.
