BILLY DAN LAING

Funeral services for Billy Dan Laing, 35, who was killed Monday night in an 
airplane crash, were held at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Golden's Funeral 
Home with the Rev. A.W. Coody officiating.

Interment was in the Mer Rouge Cemetery.

Laing was a native of Bastrop, a member of the Mer Rouge Methodist Church, La. 
National Guard and Morehouse Parish Farm Bureau.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jo Ann Laing of Mer Rouge; one son, Malcolm 
Laing of Mer Rouge; two daughters, Jessica and Jon Claire Laing, both of the 
home; three brothers, Fred Laing Jr., Thomas Laing and James Laing all of Mer 
Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Petrus of Tioga and Mrs. Susan Morgan of 
Bastrop; his father, Fred Laing of Mer Rouge and several nieces and nephews.
