Danny Hawthorne, Bro. Jamie Little and Bro. Jeff May officiating. There will be a time of visitation Friday, February 6, 2026 from 5 PM - 7 PM at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Lee, a former member of White Avenue Baptist Church, is now a member of Greenacres Baptist Church where she served as church Secretary. She was a 50- year member of Sunny South Chapter #12 and Guiding Star Chapter #66 Order of the Eastern Star where she served as Worthy Matron many times. Mrs. Lee was loved by all and she never met a stranger. She was well known for being an exceptional cook, an avid coffee drinker and for how much she enjoyed camping. She enjoyed sewing clothes for her family through the years, making many prom dresses and her daughter's wedding dress. Recently her favorite pastimes were reading and making clothes for her great granddaughter, Gracie. Nancy was a leader of girl scouts while her girls were growing up. She was often referred to as "The Cookie Lady" because of the many boxes of girl scout cookies she distributed each year. She volunteered at South Side Elementary School from Tammy's first grade through Fran's sixth grade. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Oma Frank Lee; children, Becky White and husband, Ronny, Fran Kitchens and husband, Leo; siblings, Jerry Jacob Boyte, Eva Gena Dickinson, and Mary Ann Mills; grandchildren, Tina Wolfe, Jerry Wolfe, Donovan White and wife, Savanna, Erin White, Katelyn Smith and husband, Vinson, John Frank Kitchens and great granddaughter, Gracie Lee Smith. Mrs. Lee is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Franklin Boyte and Gladys Hollingsworth Boyte; daughter, Tammy Lee Wolfe Thornton; and siblings, Charles Allen Boyte, James Monroe Boyte, Richard Theron Boyte, Benjamin Franklin Boyte, Jr, and George Edward Boyte.
