ANNIS LAURA TRIM LOWERY


Funeral services for Mrs. Annis Laura Trim Lowery, age 82, will be held at 2 PM
Monday, April 23, 2018, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She
will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden
Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lowery, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018.
Mrs. Lowery was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter
Day Saints. She loved fishing and she served a full time mission in the church.
Mrs. Lowery also served in the LDS Temple in Baton Rouge for four years.. Her
passion in life was service. Her family, church and friends held her in high
esteem for her love for people and her love of service.
Mrs. Lowery is survived by her husband, Marvin Ray Lowery; one daughter, Cathy
Ann Wilkinson of Mulberry, AR; four sons, Marvin Ray Lowery, Jr and wife Nancy
Carol of Bastrop, LA, James Roy Lowery and wife Connie of Cleveland, TX, Charles
Lee Lowery and wife Annie Mae of Bastrop, LA, Arthur Laverne Lowery and wife
Barbara of Hamburg, AR; one sister, Lucille Hobbs of Conroe, TX; three brothers,
Mike Trim and wife Carolyn, Herbert Trim, Tommy Trim all of West Monroe, LA; 20
grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lowery is preceded in death by her parents, Mike B. Trim and Mamie Lucille
Burch Trim, and brothers, R.B. Trim and wife Rosa Nell, Clifton Trim, and Jessie
Trim; half brother, Harold Trim and wife Clyda Mae; half sister, Merilee Watkins
and husband D.V.; granddaughter, Katrina Guyewski; two grandsons, Jason Lowery
and Forest Roberts.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be William Lowery, Davy Lowery, Jeffery
Lowery, Daniel Guyewski, Devon Lowery and Ronald Uptigrove. Honorary pallbearer
is Bill Ober.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 PM - 8 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
