Allan Eppinette and Bro. Todd Mattice officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Mattice, a painter, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 . He was born October 8, 1968 and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and Pipeline Hunting Club. Mr. Mattice loved his family and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He coached baseball and enjoyed umpiring baseball games. He is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Latrice Mattice; parents, Skip and Geneva Mattice; children, Dakota Mattice, Haleigh Mattice; siblings, Renee Canal and husband Buddy, Ricky Mattice and wife Kimberly, Pamela Forestier and husband Timmy, Kim Griffith and husband Anthony, Todd Mattice and wife Kim; mother-in-law, Linda Coker; sisters-in-law, Tracey Reynolds and husband Eric, Sabrina Hemphill and husband Jim, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mr. Mattice is preceded in death by his grandparents, George Nealy and Gordon and Hazel Hightower, Burt and Leona Mattice, Sr and father-in-law, Thomas Coker. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Paul David Weddle, Colby Daniels, Chad Harper, Brian Baker, Ronald Wallace and Jim Hemphill. Honorary pallbearers are, Anthony Griffith, Joe Barton, Ashton Fortune, Brandon Fortune and Chipper West. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 5 PM - 8 PM at the Church. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Glenwood Regional Medical Center and Lagniappe Healthcare Nursing Home for the wonderful care of their loved one.
