MARY JANE GRAY MCCARTY

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today for Mrs. Mary Jane Gray McCarty, 86, 
of Baskin in the Baskin Baptist Church with the Rev. Virgil Jones officiating.

Graveside services were set for 1:30 p.m today at Sweet Home Cemetery near 
Stong, Ark.

Mrs. McCarty died Sunday at Richland Parish Hospital in Rayville after a long 
illness.

Among the five sons surviving her are William and J.L. Gray, both of Bastrop; 
five daughters including Mrs. Avelee Taylor of Bastrop; two brothers and a 
sister.
