Mr. McIntyre was a former resident of Bastrop, and graduated from Bastrop Junior High School. After moving to Arkansas, he was self-employed with a building, construction business. He left home Thursday afternoon on a hunting trip and when he did not return home, a searching party was organized. The search continued through the night and Friday and Saturday. His body was found at 10 a.m. Saturday, near his parked truck. An autopsy revealed he died of a massive heart attack.
