LINDA SAWYER MCLAIN


Linda Sawyer McLain, 71, of Bastrop, LA, departed this life on Wednesday, 
December 17, 2025, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA.  Funeral service 
will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM at The Morehouse Baptist 
Association Building in  Bastrop, LA.  Visitation will be held on Monday ONLY, 
from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, before the service at The Association Building.  
There will be NO FINAL VIEWING after this time, at the request of the family.  
Burial will follow at H. V. Adams Cemetery in Bastrop, LA under the direction of 
Mitchell Funerals and Cremations of Bastrop, LA.
