BENTON S. MILLER

Graveside services for Benton S. Miller will be held 10 A.M. Saturday, April 11,
2015, at Hughes Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M.
Friday, April 10, 2015, at Golden Funeral Home.

Benton S. Miller, age 80, a resident of Bastrop, LA, and retired from Morehouse
Parish School System, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015. Mr. Miller was a member
of Green Acres Baptist Church. Mr. Miller is preceded in death by his parents,
Ulysses and Gladys Miller; infant daughter, Sandra Dee Miller; and mother-in-law,
Catherine Green.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Jo Townsend Miller; children,
Steve Miller and wife Rhonda of Katy, TX, Cindy Miller Mercer and husband Paul of
Epps, LA; grandchildren, Nick Miller, Preston Miller, Holly Skelton; great
grandchildren, Madelyn Gregory, Addison Gregory, Mylie Kate Gregory, Saylor Kathryn
Coy, Lucia Miller; brother-in-law, Scotty Townsend and wife Donna of Bastrop, LA;
and sister-in-law Gladys Jean Henderson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Nick Miller, Preston Miller, James Scott Townsend, Clay
Gilliam, and Bryant Gilliam.
