Golden Funeral Home - March 2015
JO ANN DEWOODY MOODY

Funeral services for Mrs. Jo Ann DeWoody Moody, age 73, are scheduled for 2 p.m.
Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Rev. Allan Eppinette
will serve as the officiant for the funeral ceremony and the committal service that
will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery . Visitation with the family will be held
Saturday evening between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.

Mrs. Moody, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Preceding
her in death were her parents, Hugh Gates DeWoody and Mary Jo Maples DeWoody, and
her grandparents.

Mrs. Moody enjoyed to shop, exercise, and dancing. She will be remembered for having
an abundance of love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

With her passing she leaves behind her husband, Harvey Earl Moody of Bastrop;
daughter, Mary Janee Moody of Bastrop; grandchildren, Katrina Nicole Spencer and
husband Charles of Bastrop, Robert Shane Brixey and wife Brandi of Baton Rouge;
great-grandchildren, Charles Michael Spencer, Jr., Katelyn Paige Spencer, Callie-Ann
Nicole Spencer, Kameryn Alise Brixey, and Kylie Brynn Brixey.

Serving as pallbearers will be Calvin Lebrun, Hughie McDuffie, Nick Potter, Andy
Reynolds, Shane Brixey, and Michael Dan Spencer. Honorary pallbearers are Charles
Michael Spencer, Sr. and Charles Michael Spencer, Jr.
