Friday, February 1, 2019, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Gambill and Rev. Brett Moore officiating. The interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.The family will receive friends Thursday, January 31, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the church. Mrs. Moore, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the age of 64. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bastrop, LA, where she served as the secretary for twelve years. Mrs. Moore also served as the secretary of Eastside Elementary School for fifteen years. She loved the Lord, her family, and adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed singing, listening to Southern Gospel music, cooking, and making deserts. Mrs. Moore would help anyone that she could and was never one to complain . She always had a smile for everyone and will be remembered as being the epitome of a warrior spirit! Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband of forty-six years, Shelby Moore; parents, Dr. L.H. McCollough and Leah McCollough; sons, Brett Moore and wife Shelley of Sherwood, AR, Technical Sergeant Justin Moore and wife Micki of Clovis, NM; sisters, Luanne Bryan and husband Mike of Sherwood, AR, Marian Riles and husband Dennis of Bastrop, LA; brothers, Harrie McCollough and wife Nancy of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Jordan, Callie, Noelle, Dawson, Derik, and Tawny; great grandchildren, Zayden, Abby, and Emma, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister, Karian Powell. Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Freeland, Wayne Philley, Terry Williams, Glen Melton, Rodney Dew, and Bill Blake. Honorary pallbearers will be the Adult 4 Men’s Sunday School Class.
