Reverends Andy Myrick and Luther Sanson will officiate the services. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home. Lois Marie Punchard Morace was born September 22, 1930 at Baskin, Louisiana to the union of George Punchard and Mary Edna Powers Punchard. She passed away peacefully March 26, 2014, surrounded by her family, at the Cherry Ridge Guest Care in Bastrop, Louisiana. Mrs. Morace is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carlos Morace; three brothers, John Punchard, Felton Punchard, Billy Punchard; and a sister, Ludie Sidebottom. Mrs. Morace was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. She was a member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church where she served on various committees through the years. She was a devoted stay-at-home mom. After her children were grown she worked as assistant activity director at Summerlin Lane Nursing Home for several years. Mrs. Morace loved spending time with her granddaughter, Madelynn, who was the love of her life. Surviving Mrs. Morace are her two daughters, Janet Yeldell and her husband Jay and Carla Crymes and her husband Terry; her granddaughter, Madelynn Crymes; two sisters, Faye Punchard and Louise Bonner; numerous nieces and nephews and a special family friend, whom she loved like a daughter, Janet Chain Fortner. Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Punchard, William Grayson, Samuel Turner, Jacob Norton, Gary Grayson, and Danny Grayson. Honorary pallbearers are Patrick Grayson and Sam Turner. The family will receive friends Friday, March 28th, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.
