JAMES P. MORGAN

Servives for James P. Morgan, 84, have been set for 2 p.m. today in the Chapel 
of Farrar Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Oliver officiating. Interment will 
follow in the Midway Cemetery at Epps.

Mr. Morgan succumbed Sunday afternoon in the Richland Parish Hospital at 
Rayville after a lengthy illness.

A 50 year resident of Bastrop and retired farmer, Mr. morgan was member of the 
Baptist Church. 

Survivors include two sons, Johnny Morgan of Houston and James Morgan Jr., of 
Shreveport; five daughters, Mrs. Albert Chunn of Oak Ridge, Mrs. Jewel Cook of 
Rayville, Mrs. Mabel Carmack, Mrs. Lillie Faye Forrest and Mrs. Erma Lane 
Oglesby all of Bastrop; one brother, Lonnie Morgan of Baton Rouge; 22 
grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Sonny Forrest, James Albert Chunn, Victor Ray Chunn, Jimmy 
Ray Oglesby, Tommy Ray Butler, and Billy Jo Chunn
