Mr. Morman was born January 9, 1956 in Monroe, LA and passed from this walk of life surrounded by his family on July 9, 2020 in Mer Rouge, LA at the age of sixty-four. Paul was a simple christian man, a deacon at Hillview Freewill Baptist Church in Bastrop, LA and a charter member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Rayville, LA. Paul loved his family more than any of us could imagine. He loved deer hunting and he loved driving them ole trucks. He was known to his trucking friends as “ Sidewinder”. Vickie, Amanda and Jo were “his girls”. He always loved “ his girls”. Clayton, Amelia, Parker, CJ, and Maddie Sue “my grandkids” as he would say with that big ole smile on his face. Now you also have to realize those two nieces (his extra girls) and three nephews, he enjoyed them and loved them as his own. His two sisters, Sarah and Donna well remember the running joke, who was his favorite? Whichever one he was with. Paul is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Vickie Evans Morman; daughters, Ellen Amanda Simmons and husband Randall of Bastrop, LA, Joanna Lane Gill and husband Jason of Crossett, AR; sisters, Sarah Morman of Monroe, LA, Donna Morman Jones and husband Duke of Rayville, LA; five grandchildren, two nieces, three nephews and numerous friends and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Sue Morman; grandparents, Houch and Josie Colson, Oscar and Annie Morman, and also his precious in-laws, Loyd and Melba Robertson.
