Golden Funeral Home Obits - December 2012
PHILLIP M. MUSGROVE

Funeral services for Mr. Phillip M. Musgrove, age 70, are scheduled for 2 p.m. 
Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim 
Post officiating. Interment will follow in Musgrove Cemetery. Visitation will 
be held Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. 

Mr. Musgrove, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Monday, December 31, 2012 at 
Morehouse General Hospital. He was a retired employee of International Paper 
Company with 36 years of service and a member of the IPCO Quarter Century 
Club. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and was a member of M & M Hunting 
Club in Fountain Hill, AR. 

Mr. Musgrove is preceded in death by his parents, John Mark Musgrove, Sr. and 
Inez Pettis Musgrove; a son, Brodie Mark Musgrove; three brothers, 
J.M. "Bootsie" Musgrove, Terry "Horn" Musgrove, Madison "Toe" Musgrove; and 
three sisters, Shirlyn Musgrove, Genova "Heffer" Rushing, and Caroletta Ogima. 

He is survived by his daughter, Amy Musgrove of Bastrop; son, Chris Musgrove 
of Bastrop; three sisters, Phyllis Caldwell of Bastrop, Lucy Hutson of 
Archibald, LA, Patsy Barton of Tickfaw, LA; and two brothers, Juan Musgrove of 
Bastrop, and Douglas Musgrove of Bastrop. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas Musgrove, Jr., Chuck Lord, Chris Gandy, 
Ricky Hutson, Tab Musgrove, and Jonathan Mareno.
