Aaron Dickinson and Rev. Ron Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Bartholomew Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 4 PM - 6 PM at Swartz First Baptist Church. Mr. Musgrove, a member of Swartz First Baptist Church and veteran of the United States Marine Corps, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017. He is a retired employee of Shell Oil and pollution consultant for International Paper Company. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty Musgrove; mother and father-in-law, Don and Ruth Robinson of Monroe, LA; daughters, Michelle Tripp and husband Casey of Swartz, LA, Meredith Jones and boyfriend Buddy Turner of Marion, LA; precious grandchildren, Marrah Gabrielle Jones and Chandler Jacob Jones; sister, Sue McCready and husband Arnold of Bastrop, LA; brother, Stephen "Butch" Musgrove and wife Dottie of Bastrop, LA; nieces, Jessica Paige Musgrove and fiancé Nathaniel Devendorf, Anna Marie Cochran and husband Zach, Lori Couture and husband Ken, Natanya Shoemaker and husband Gerry, Marissa McCready, Brittany McCready; nephews, Greg Musgrove and wife Terri, Todd Musgrove, Tim Musgrove, Tracy McCready. Mr. Musgrove is preceded in death by his parents, John Jacob "Jake" and Zola Mae Jackson Musgrove and brother, Vince Musgrove. Serving as pallbearers will be Jessie Hall, Cecil Lenard, Paul David Smith, Scott Till, Gary Tyler and Ken Westerburg. Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Musgrove's nephews, the men of Oakwoods Home for the Elderly, Tim Lowery, Ranny Reynolds, Randy Stroder and Bob King.
