She is the mother of Sharon Wells-Harris and husband Kerry C. of Bastrop and Kenneth Louis Wells and wife Judy also of Bastrop. Mrs. Wells had been ill for several months. Before her illness she was at home in Cherry Ridge Guest Care. There she had many friends, especially Mrs. Ruby Reade. Mrs. Wells was retired and the widow of the late James Louis Wells. She was employed, before retiring, by International Paper Company and was proud to be part of the workers who began Kraftman Credit Union. There she remained a member until her death. Mrs. Wells was a true Christian of the Oneness faith and love talking and learning about our Lord. She leaves behind five grandchildren: Michael Kenneth Wells and wife Christy of Bastrop, Scott William Witcher and wife Kim of Houston, Texas; Jason William Witcher and wife Kelli of Virginia Beach, Va., Kelly Ray Randall and Ches Randall of Bastrop, Julie Suzanne Wells of Bastrop and seven great grandchildren. Missing her deeply are two sisters: Mrs. Lela Kane of Marthaville, La. an Mrs. Thelma Rice of Pioneer, Calif. Mrs. Wells was 83 years-old. Visitation will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. with a eulogy service to follow at 2 p .m. Burial services will be held privately
