KATIE WHITE NETTLES

Mrs. Katie White Nettles, age 72, of Monroe died yesterday after a lengthy 
illness.

She was a native of Dry Prong, a retired saleslady and a member of the First 
United Methodist Church of West Monroe.

Services are set for today, March 5, at 10:30 a.m. at Hixon Brothers Chapel in 
Monroe with the Rev. Robert L. Peyton officiating. Burial will follow at 
Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Veatch of Bastrop; three brothers, 
Odell White of North Little Rock, J.T. White and Walter both of Farmerville; a 
sister, Mrs. Ethel Hampton of Shreveport; two grandchildren; and three great 
grandchildren.
