OAK GROVE, LOUISIANA
COX FUNERAL HOME
OAK GROVE, LOUISIANA
Funeral services for Deloris "Poochie" Ann Newell, will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, 
December 21st at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove, Louisiana with Bro. Shane 
Cupples officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until time of the 
service.
She is preceded in death by her husband, C.A. "Bub" Newell; son, Jimmy Dale 
Newell; father, Dalton Curry; mother, Jessie Curry; grandson, Shane Harris; and 
great granddaughter, Raigyn Calhoun.
Ms. Poochie is survived by her son, Carlton Newell and wife Cheryl of 
Stephenville, Texas; son, Eddie Newell and wife Sharon of Oak Grove, Louisiana; 
daughter-in-law, Charlotte Newell of Oak Grove, Louisiana; sister, Nancy 
Colquette of Mer Rouge, Louisiana; sister, Mamie Lee Fuller of Ruston, 
Louisiana; sister, Dinky Cook of Kilbourne, Louisiana; sister, Mary Jean Ashley 
of Rayville, Louisiana; eight grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Scottie Ashley, David Newell, Chad Newell, Justin Newell, Lawson 
Newell, and Dylan Hendrix.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
