DOROTHY MATHESON FLETCHER NORMAN

A Celebration of Life for Dorothy Matheson Fletcher Norman, 96, of Bastrop, will 
be held at 2 PM Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church, 
Bastrop with Bro. Dennis Hackler and Bro. Tim Post officiating.

Dorothy was born on August 3, 1925, in Liverpool, England to her parents; James 
Angus Fletcher and Annie Maude Maddocks Fletcher and went to meet her Lord and 
Savior on Monday, November 15, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Levi Paul Norman 
and two sons-in-law, Carlton Kelley and Billy C. Johnson, Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Dorothy Ann Johnson, son, 
Paul James Norman, both of Monroe, grandson, Billy C. Johnson, II (Jennifer 
Bridges) of Oak Grove, two great-grandchildren: Shannon Johnson and Billy 
“Poose” Johnson, III both of Monroe, their mother, Sherri Rieger Johnson, two 
dear friends: Ruby Tully Carpenter and Mary Peterson and a plethora of nieces 
and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cherry Ridge Baptist Church or a 
charity of your choosing.
