Golden Funeral Home - September 2017
JAMES THOMAS NORSWORTHY

Funeral services for Mr. James Thomas "Jimmy" Norsworthy, age 79, are 
scheduled for 10 AM Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Bethel Baptist Church 
with Bro. Doug Edwards and Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow 
in Hughes Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Norsworthy, a member of Bethel Baptist Church, was a great husband, 
daddy, and grandfather. He loved his family dearly. Mr. Norsworthy also 
loved to fish and play his guitar. He was very involved in his convenience 
store in Beekman. He was also very competetive in any sport and wanted to 
win.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Melba Norsworthy; daughters, Debra 
Fife and husband David, Sissy Brantley and Patty Robinson and husband Wayne, 
nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great 
grandchild.

Mr. Norsworthy is preceded in death by his son, Jamie Norsworthy; parents, 
three sisters and six brothers.

Serving the family as pallbearers are B.J. Lewis, Eric Vail, Heath Fife, 
Kenny Brantley, Dustin Hines and Garrett Lewis.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 11, 2017 from 5 PM - 7 PM at 
Golden Funeral Home.
