BASTROP DAILY ENTERPRISE - FEBRUARY 18, 1975
JESSIE JAMES PACE

Jessie James Pace, age 88, died at midnight at Morehouse General Hospital 
following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in 
the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Mr. Jerd Brantley officiating.

Mr. Pace was a lifelong resident of Morehouse Parish and had resided at Cherry 
Ridge Nursing Home for the past six years.

Survivors include four sons, Jessie Pace Jr., of Little Rock, Ark., Robert L. 
Pace and John H. Pace, both of Bastrop and Clyde Grogan of Mobile, Ala.; four 
daughters, Mrs. Alice Watson and Mrs. Mildred Nixon, both of Bastrop, Mrs. 
Myrtle Gissett of Shannon, Ga., and Mrs. Camille East of Monroe; 18 
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren
