Gayle Lavon Peoples, 67, of Bastrop, LA, departed this life on Friday, January 30, 
2026, at her residence in Bastrop, LA.  Funeral service will be held on Friday, 
February 13, 2026 at 1:30 pm at Second B. C., in Bastrop, LA.  Visitation will be 
held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Chapel of 
Mitchell Funerals and Cremations, in Bastrop, LA.  Cremation services will be 
under the direction of Mitchell Funerals and Cremations of Bastrop, LA.
