ALLEN TERRELL PHILLIPS

Funeral services for Allen Terrell Phillips, 79, of Sterlington, LA will be held at
Golden Funeral Home Hwy 165 Bastrop, LA, January 7, 2017 at 10:30 AM Saturday with
Rev. Stewart Bedillion presiding. Viewing will be held prior to memorial from 9 AM -
10:30 AM. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Bastrop, LA.

Allen passed away peacefully at home with his children and grandchildren at his
bedside after a lengthy decline. He was a millwright for International Paper for
forty years, retiring in 2004.

He is survived by his wife Dianne Williams Phillips; his son, Joseph Allen Phillips
and wife Carol of Haughton, LA; his daughter, Amanda McDonald and husband Brent of
Bastrop, LA; five grandchildren, Madison Guy and husband Tim of West Monroe, LA,
Victoria and Katherine Phillips of Haughton, LA, Raul Torres of San Francisco, CA
and Ryan Torres of Fort Worth, TX; one surviving sibling, Mrs. Annis Marie Burnham
and husband Gene of Farmerville and numerous nieces and nephews.

Allen is preceded in death by his father, Claude Allen Phillips; mother, Annie Pearl
Siddon Smith; his brothers, Joseph Dale Phillips of Ball, LA, James Roy Smith of
Florida and sister, Linda Phillips Jacques of Broussard, LA.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana or
Life Choices of Monroe.
