REV. C.E. PICKENS

Funeral services for the Rev. C.E. Pickens, 67, were held at 11 a.m today in 
First Presbyterian Church here with Dr. Don Corley and Rev. W.W. Hatcher 
officiating
 Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m Friday, in the Magnolia Cemetery under 
the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
 The Rev. Pickens died Tuesday in St. Francis Medical after a brief illness.  He 
had served as minister at the two local Presbyerian Churches before his 
retirement.
 He is survived by a one daughter, Mrs. Cathy Graham of Bastrop; one brother, 
Joe Pickens of Alexander City, Ala, and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bill Holt, Joe Stanley, Charles Patton,  Rick Perry, Julius 
Freeman and Bob Carter
