Graveside services for Omer L. Plummer, 73, of Bastrop are scheduled for 10:30 
a.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Lynn 
Townsend officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. 
Wednesday at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Plummer, a retired United Gas Pipeline 
employee, died August 6 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannine Plummer; four sons, Michael Plummer and 
wife Kathy of West Monroe, Rodney Plummer and wife Patsy of Ruston, Jeffrey 
Plummer and wife Sharon of Broussard and Joel Plummer of Bastrop; brother, 
Charles Plummer of Dubach; five grandchildren; brother-in-law, Camillo Detore 
and brother and sister-in-law, Percy and Donna Rogers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Ester and Irma Hines Plummer; 
sister, Beverly McDowell; mother and father-in-law, Opal and Percy Rogers and 
sister-in-law, Janette Detore.
